Charge Controller

The charge controller is the "brain" of the solar power system. It monitors the batteries and the incoming power from the solar panels and intelligently directs and controls the flow of electricity into the batteries. As batteries come closer to being full, they must be charged more slowly or they will overheat and/or boil over (which damages your batteries).

Batteries

Batteries store power for use when the sun isn't shining. We only supply the best deep cycle batteries that will last for many years. However, in trying weather conditions the lifespan might be reduced due to a heavier reliance on the battery power store.

Solar Modules (Panels)

The externally visible solar panels are the active components that converts sunlight energy into usable electrical power. Each module consists of an array of photovoltiac cells assembled into a frame structure with a protective temperred glass pane to protect it from the elements. Many of these modules can be installed according to the power requirements.

AC Inverter and Fuse Panel

The inverter is connected directly to the batteries. The inverter converts the 12 volt DC electricity into 220 volt AC so that basic home appliances can be run independently of the power grid.
